The bill ensures the facility is built and operational within two years.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cUtahns in Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain, and Lehi have been forced to rely on a single, overcrowded post office, which is unacceptable for one of the fastest-growing regions in the country,\u201d<\/em><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong>said Rep. Owens.<\/strong>\u00a0<em>\u201cSince 2021, I\u2019ve been fighting to fix it, listening to constituents impacted and bringing these issues to the highest levels of government. On Pioneer Day, I\u2019m proud to introduce a common sense solution: legislation to build a new post office in Saratoga Springs, which will deliver faster service, shorter lines, and the modern infrastructure our communities deserve.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe Mayor and City Council of Saratoga Springs express their sincere gratitude to Congressman Owens and his dedicated staff for the many hours they have invested in advancing the Saratoga Springs Post Office Act,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0<strong>said Saratoga Springs Mayor Jim Miller.<\/strong>\u00a0<em>\u201cThis legislation addresses a longstanding need in our community and reflects years of collaboration with our congressional delegation. Once enacted, the bill will bring essential postal services to Saratoga Springs and our neighboring communities, supporting the needs of our growing population.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAs we only have one post office currently serving all of Lehi, Eagle Mountain, and Saratoga Springs, we are extremely grateful to Rep. Burgess Owens for introducing the \u2018Saratoga Springs Post Office Act,\u2019 which will construct a new post office serving northern Utah County,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0<strong>said<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Lehi Mayor Mark Johnson<\/strong>.\u00a0<em>\u201cOur population is booming and we are in desperate need of an additional post office to ensure that residents continue to have timely mail delivery and access to critical services.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI fully support the establishment of a post office in Saratoga Springs.
