Green, Jr. Praises Cleanup Efforts and Calls for Federal Investigation into Illegal Dumping<\/h2>\n<p align=\"left\"><strong>NEW ORLEANS<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 District D Councilman Eugene J. Green, Jr. commends the swift cleanup of illegally dumped tires behind the post office located at 5919 Chef Menteur Hwy, specifically at 5919 Reel Street. The area had been severely impacted by the illegal dumping of tires, obstructing access and disrupting the operations of federal postal workers.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><strong>Councilman Green emphasized the broader consequences of such acts:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">\u201cIllegal dumping has an incredibly negative impact on our city and its communities. \u00a0In this particular case, it interfered with federal workers\u2019 ability to carry out their responsibilities \u2014 delaying the essential task of getting mail to our citizens\u00a0<strong>said Councilman Green<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Given the disruption of federal services and obstruction of federal property, Councilman Green is formally calling for a federal investigation into the matter.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">\u201cWe must hold accountable those who are illegally dumping waste and blocking critical federal infrastructure.
