DENVER \u2013 5\/23\/25 – The U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office for the District of Colorado announces that Brisa Sierra-Silva, 25, and Christopher Johnson, 35, have been indicted in connection with the March 4, 2024, attempted robbery of a postal carrier and the subsequent robbery of a different postal carrier on the same day. Sierra-Silva is charged with one count each of robbery and attempted robbery.\u00a0 Johnson is charged with one count of attempted robbery.<\/p>\n

Sierra-Silva was arrested and made her initial appearance in federal court on April 25, 2025.\u00a0 Johnson was arrested and made his initial appearance on May 21, 2025.<\/p>\n

The charges in the indictment are allegations and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.<\/p>\n

The investigation is being conducted by the United States Postal Inspection Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.\u00a0The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Al Buchman.<\/p>\n
