{"id":37583,"date":"2025-03-16T10:56:50","date_gmt":"2025-03-16T15:56:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/?p=37583"},"modified":"2025-03-16T10:56:50","modified_gmt":"2025-03-16T15:56:50","slug":"sacramento-man-pleads-guilty-to-postal-robberies-while-armed-with-a-dangerous-weapon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/2025\/03\/16\/sacramento-man-pleads-guilty-to-postal-robberies-while-armed-with-a-dangerous-weapon\/","title":{"rendered":"Sacramento Man Pleads Guilty to Postal Robberies While Armed with a Dangerous Weapon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>SACRAMENTO<\/strong>, Calif. \u2014 3\/13\/25 &#8211; William Carl Jackson, 36, pleaded guilty to robbing a postal carrier while armed with a dangerous weapon, Acting United States Attorney Michele Beckwith announced.<\/p>\n<p>According to court documents, Jackson robbed postal carriers on July 11, 2024, and July 31, 2024.\u00a0 During in each robbery, he brandished a fake pistol at the victim and then ordered the victim to turn over his postal keys.\u00a0 After taking the victim\u2019s keys, he then fled from the scene on a bicycle.<\/p>\n<p>This case was the product of an investigation by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. Assistant United States Attorney Elliot C.
