SUBJECT: Updated Postal Service Face Covering Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n

3\/29\/22 – With the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases continuing to decline across the country, state,
\nlocal and tribal jurisdictions have revised their pandemic mitigation measures and have stopped
\ntheir mandatory face covering policies and social distancing practices. The Postal Service has
\ndecided to align with these national changes.<\/p>\n

Effective immediately, the Postal Service will no longer require any postal employee to wear a
\nface covering while at work. All previous Postal Service face covering policies are rescinded.
\nEmployees may continue to voluntarily wear a mask or face covering if they are so inclined.
\nThe Postal Service will remain diligent and continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will
\nmake modifications to this policy as needed.<\/p>\n

The Postal Service will continue to provide face
\ncoverings for any employee who requests one.<\/p>\n
