Over 94% of participating eligible members voted to accept the tentative agreement that was announced on November 25. The vote to ratify was 60,111 to accept the agreement versus 3,341 to reject it, as reported by NALC\u2019s Ballot Committee chairman Delano Wilson of Silver Spring, MD Branch 2611. The fifteen-member Ballot Committee monitored and observed the dispatch, receipt, and tabulation of the Ratification Ballot conducted by an independent company, MOSAIC of Cheverly, MD.<\/p>\n<p>NALC will officially notify USPS of the March 8 ratification date.<\/p>\n<p>Information on back pay and the implementation of the new contract will be released as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>The new contract covers a 44-month term from September 20, 2019, to May 20, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Details may be found in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nalc.org\/news\/bulletin\/pdf2020\/Bulletin-20-09.pdf\">NALC Bulletin<\/a> (PDF).<\/p>\n<p>All letter carriers, career and non-career alike, will receive four wage increases under Article 9 as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1.1 percent effective Nov. 23, 2019, paid retroactively.<\/li>\n<li>1.1 percent effective Nov. 21, 2020, paid retroactively.<\/li>\n<li>1.3 percent effective Nov. 20, 2021.<\/li>\n<li>1.3 percent effective Nov. 19, 2022.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PLEASE NOTE:<\/strong> For questions or concerns please see your NALC representative.
