When we do that, we can drive business growth and enhance our connection to our customers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also thanked employees for their commitment to the Postal Service\u2019s mission, particularly during an election year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe play a special role in elections, and we\u2019re all proud of that. It\u2019s our duty to deliver every ballot, and I know you\u2019re going to do a great job on the election for the American people,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The visit was part of the Postmaster General\u2019s ongoing effort to recognize employees for helping USPS achieve operational excellence. Earlier in September, DeJoy\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Flink.usps.com%2F2020%2F09%2F18%2Ffrom-the-top-3%2F&amp;data=02%7C01%7CShawn.D.Selby%40usps.gov%7Cc2dad2e406a74c0449a908d866382dcc%7Cf9aa5788eb334a498ad076101910cac3%7C0%7C0%7C637371738750438133&amp;sdata=iJQTHdGr3Br5T4SvfQ8MWYN3F2TSchbjpYjfyeJPQwg%3D&amp;reserved=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>traveled to Houston<\/em><\/a>, where he praised workers for reducing late trips and delayed inventory.<\/p>\n<p>The Postmaster General\u2019s Richmond visit also included a stop at Pocoshock Creek Station, where he reviewed facility operations, met with employees and local management, and bought several sheets of stamps.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKeep up the good work, stay safe and if you see a ballot, get it delivered!\u201d DeJoy said.<\/p>\n<p><em>Share your feedback at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:uspslink@usps.gov\">uspslink@usps.gov<\/a>.
