{"id":27836,"date":"2019-12-17T11:21:27","date_gmt":"2019-12-17T16:21:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/?p=27836"},"modified":"2019-12-17T11:21:27","modified_gmt":"2019-12-17T16:21:27","slug":"some-decry-the-quality-of-package-delivery-during-holiday-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/2019\/12\/17\/some-decry-the-quality-of-package-delivery-during-holiday-season\/","title":{"rendered":"Some decry the quality of package delivery during holiday season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/sinclairstoryline.com\/resources\/embeds\/jw8-embed.html?client=googima&amp;file=https:\/\/content.uplynk.com\/91a377f8651e42fa8feef572c2ebe48c.m3u8&amp;autostart=false\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The holiday season is upon us, that means a lot of package deliveries.<\/p>\n<p>NBC 10 News heard from a number of people looking for answers from shipping companies to actions some of them caught on camera.<\/p>\n<p>One video from a Riverside doorbell camera shows a USPS worker shouting expletives and aggressively tossing a package on the resident\u2019s front porch.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It infuriates me,&#8221; Alice Mercer-Medeira of Dartmouth told us.<\/p>\n<p>She used to be a USPS mail carrier for years.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I know how hard the job can be,&#8221; Mercer Medeira said. &#8220;But I also know how rewarding it can be.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And now, she&#8217;s not exempt from the service many others see, especially during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.<\/p>\n<p>She showed us one package that said online was delivered to her front door on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My husband found it Saturday afternoon in a full bag of water up by the mailbox by the road,&#8221; Mercer-Medeira said.
