The U.S.P.S. will be using the vans for a variety of duties at locations around the country \u2013 including daily home delivery.<\/p>\n<p>Today, however, blogs and news articles over the Internet are reporting that Chrysler intends to apply for a federal grant to provide the all-electric versions of their Town and Country minivans. Apparently their proposal is being made in partnership with several major utility companies, including Duke Energy and ConEd, who will provide the infrastructure needed to charge the vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Stimulus money for postal vans &#8211; good idea or another bad use of taxpayer money?
