To do it the way Jamila Hendricks does is crazy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s times where I question myself like, \u2018Chick, you must be [crazy], how are you doing this? Why are you doing this,\u2019\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Every day, in Waxahachie, whenever Jamila isn\u2019t driving, she\u2019s running her entire route. \u201cA lot of people say, \u2018Is a dog chasing you? Are you running from someone? Did something just happen,\u2019\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Jamila says it\u2019s not what she\u2019s running from, it\u2019s what she\u2019s running for. \u201cI run for them,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Jamila and her husband have three children, and she wanted to set a better example.<\/p>\n<p>Before she started running, Jamila says her health had taken a backseat. Just two years ago, she weighed nearly 300 pounds. With her children in mind, she started losing weight, eating healthier and delivering the mail by running.
