It was William McRae\u2019s postal route, where he would distribute drugs along his way.<\/p>\n<p>Federal investigators built the drug distribution case against McRae based out of a Southwest Baltimore post office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe trust our US postal workers, if you don\u2019t trust anybody else,\u201d Don, a Baltimore resident said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wouldn\u2019t think you jeopardize a job like that. I wouldn\u2019t,\u201d Jimmie Carter, a Baltimore resident said.<\/p>\n<p>His accomplice, Michael Gray, pleaded guilty on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Federal officials said McRae delivered more than 100 kilograms\u2013 220 pounds\u2013 of marijuana on his route.<\/p>\n<p>According to court documents, investigators spotted McRae passing a package to Gray on his route in January 2018 on the corner of W. Lombard and Mount Streets.<\/p>\n<p>Ten months later, surveillance was set up at the Franklin Station Post Office and on McRae\u2019s postal route, where the feds caught McRae passing two kilograms of pot to Gray.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s when they were arrested.
