However, some retail offices may be open later due to customer needs.<\/p>\n<p>Local hours are posted at all Post Offices.<\/p>\n<p>In select locations, USPS will deliver packages Tuesday, Dec. 25.<\/p>\n<p>The organization will\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/link.usps.com\/2018\/11\/13\/ready-to-deliver-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">deliver cheer throughout this year\u2019s holiday season<\/a><\/em>, including an estimated 16 billion mailpieces and packages from Thanksgiving to New Year\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n<p>In her\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/link.usps.com\/2018\/12\/18\/happy-holidays-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recent holiday message to employees<\/a><\/em>, Postmaster General Megan J. Brennan thanked them for their dedication and service.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYour efforts during the holidays help us earn our customers\u2019 trust and loyalty and demonstrate the Postal Service\u2019s value to the American public. As postal employees, we take great pride in serving our customers at every touch point,\u201d Brennan wrote.<\/p>\n<p>USPS\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/about.usps.com\/newsroom\/national-releases\/2018\/pr18_099.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced<\/a><\/em>\u00a0its operating status for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year\u2019s Eve and New Year\u2019s Day on Dec. 6.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>USPS will be open for business and mail delivery will continue as usual Monday, Dec. 24.
