(KRQE) &#8211; The family whose truck was hit by a mail man, who police say was driving drunk on the job, believes the crash could have been much worse.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We heard this loud crash&#8230;me and my husband both ran outside,&#8221; said Morgan Sanchez.<\/p>\n<p>It was Sunday around 2:30 in the afternoon when Morgan and Chris Sanchez found a mess in their front yard.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We just saw the mail truck in our front yard and the guy was out&#8230; he fell out of car,&#8221; said Sanchez.<\/p>\n<p>Police say the man driving that postal truck before plowing into their red pick-up was Kevin Brown, a 28-year-old mail carrier.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Then I ran up to him and was like, are you okay? Cause he was all bloody from probably hitting the pavement and getting road rash and stuff,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>Sanchez said she and her husband immediately called for help, but Brown didn&#8217;t want it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He was like, no I&#8217;m fine, I&#8217;m fine, let me call my boss. I need to call my boss.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>She said at first she didn&#8217;t think Brown was drunk.
