Our high ranking in this poll reflects the efforts of our employees to improve customers\u2019 experiences at every touch point,\u201d said Postmaster General Megan J. Brennan. \u201cI thank all employees for their contributions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The organization is emphasizing customer service through new features like Informed Delivery<em>,<\/em>\u00a0which allows consumers to\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/link.usps.com\/2017\/12\/29\/in-the-know-6\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">receive digital images<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>of their incoming mail, and Informed Visibility, a platform that allows USPS to track mail as it moves throughout the postal network.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, Gallup found government agencies generally received higher marks in 2017 than in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmericans have expressed increased levels of confidence in the economy and U.S. institutions in 2017, as well as higher levels of support for a more active government,\u201d Gallup stated.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h1>Republicans Push Government Agency Ratings Up, but Not FBI<\/h1>\n<header class=\"header-article\">\n<div class=\"article-header-group\">\n<div class=\"authorDisplayLine1\">by Megan Brenan and Steve Ander<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"article-content\">\n<div class=\"storyhighlight\">\n<h4>STORY HIGHLIGHTS<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>U.S. Postal Service again tops list of government agencies&#8217; job ratings<\/li>\n<li>Majorities rate eight of 13 government agencies positively<\/li>\n<li>Republicans more positive than in 2014 about all agencies except FBI<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>WASHINGTON, D.C. &#8212; Majorities of Americans now rate the job performance of eight of 13 key government agencies as &#8220;excellent&#8221; or &#8220;good&#8221;; the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) again tops the list with a 74% positive rating.
