Stephenson<\/b>, 25, Hoxie, Kan., pleaded guilty to one count of mail theft. In his plea, he admitted the crime occurred while he was employed at the Post Office in Hoxie, Kan. He stole mail containing cash, gift cards and prepaid debit cards. He said he looked for birthday and anniversary cards that were likely to contain items of value.<\/p>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0in 0in 0pt; color: #171e24; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: #ffffff; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;\">Sentencing is set for Sept. 14. Both parties have agreed to recommend a sentence of a year and a day in federal prison.
