On August 25, 2016, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, Brian Cisek, former Sergeant-at-Arms of National Association of Letter\"theft\" Carriers (NALC) Branch 56 (located in Grand Rapids, Mich.), pled guilty to one count of embezzling union funds in the approximate amount of $500, in violation of 29 U.S.C. 501(c).\u00a0 The sentencing is scheduled for December 12, 2016.\u00a0 The plea follows an investigation by the OLMS Detroit-Milwaukee District Office.<\/p>\n
