A Knoxville boy who idolizes his mailman got to go on a surprise-filled visit to Postman Mike’s Post Office.<\/em><\/p>\n

(WBIR-KNOXVILLE) A four-year-old boy who idolizes his neighborhood mailman finally got to see the other half of ‘Postman Mike’s\u00a0job this week.<\/p>\n

Carter Lawson wants to be a post man when he grows up and has grown close with his family’s\u00a0mailman. So close that they\u00a0<\/span>have matching outfits<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0the two walk through the neighborhood delivering mail and talking to neighbors.<\/p>\n

But Carter had\u00a0never gotten the chance to see what working in a post office is really like.<\/p>\n

To make Carter’s behind-the-scenes post office visit\u00a0special, Mike and his colleagues planned a big surprise.<\/p>\n
