McKinnon has announced.<\/p>\n<p>In accordance with the settlement, the Postal Service is responsible for any \u201cdirect costs\u201d of fingerprinting, including mileage.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, \u201cReasonable and necessary time spent by PSEs obtaining fingerprints necessary for a background investigation\u201d will be considered \u201ccompensable time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The class action settlement is effective immediately and applies to costs incurred by PSEs in all crafts.
