(UPS) are aggressively vying for cross-border online shoppers \u2014 consumers for whom geography is no barrier to finding what they want.<\/p>\n<p>Both firms have acquired foreign businesses that make cross-border shopping as seamless as possible with a range of new options, including automatic tailoring to reflect the currencies, shipping costs, taxes and duties of the customer\u2019s home country.<\/p>\n<p>The process has become so simple, consumers may not realize they are ordering from a foreign retailer. When they do, \u201cThe No. 1 driver is that they can\u2019t find that item in their country,\u201d Carl Asmus, FedEx\u2019s vice president of international marketing, said in the article.<\/p>\n<p>International services are featured on<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><em>usps.com<\/em><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>with a large \u201c<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usps.com\/international\/welcome.htm\" target=\"_blank\">We go there<\/a><\/em>\u201d tagline, letting customers know USPS ships to more than 180 countries.
