Satisfaction with national parks ranked second (73 percent), followed by the federal response to natural disasters (71 percent).<\/p>\n<p>Sixteen percent of respondents are satisfied with federal efforts on poverty, which ranked last on the list.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmericans\u2019 extremely positive view of the Postal Service and mail delivery may be a result of interacting with the USPS nearly every day,\u201d Gallup reported.<\/p>\n<p>The Postal Service is<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><em><a href=\"https:\/\/liteblue.usps.gov\/news\/link\/2015\/05may\/news05s1.htm\">exploring<\/a><\/em><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>new approaches to meet customers\u2019 delivery needs, including testing<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><em><a href=\"https:\/\/liteblue.usps.gov\/news\/link\/2015\/04apr\/news14s1.htm\">same-day<\/a><\/em><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>and<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><em><a href=\"https:\/\/liteblue.usps.gov\/news\/link\/2015\/04apr\/news23s1.htm\">Sunday package delivery<\/a><\/em><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>services.<\/p>\n<p>Gallup\u2019s results, published May 6, align with a poll last fall that<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><em><a href=\"https:\/\/liteblue.usps.gov\/news\/link\/2014\/11nov\/news25s2.htm\">ranked<\/a><\/em><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>the Postal Service first among government agencies in the public\u2019s esteem.<\/p>\n<p>USPS also<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><em><a href=\"https:\/\/liteblue.usps.gov\/news\/link\/2015\/04apr\/news22s1.htm\">tied<\/a><\/em><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>with the National Parks Service for first place in Forrester Research\u2019s recent rating of agencies\u2019 customer service.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Satisfied customers Poll ranks mail delivery as top government service USPS News\u00a0Link &#8211;\u00a05\/8\/15 The public ranks mail delivery as the government\u2019s top service in a new Gallup poll.
