To keep their business, we must provide them with excellent experiences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Williams spoke at a postal delivery symposium in Chicago, the second of three such strategy sessions being held across the nation this spring. More than 200 employees attended the event, which carried the theme \u201cMission: Possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The meetings are part of the Postal Service\u2019s broader focus on<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><em><a href=\"https:\/\/liteblue.usps.gov\/news\/link\/2015\/02feb\/news03s1.htm\">investing in the future<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>At each symposium, participants receive updates on new delivery initiatives, including the ongoing deployment of<em><a href=\"https:\/\/liteblue.usps.gov\/news\/link\/2015\/04apr\/news24s1.htm\">Mobile Delivery Devices<\/a><\/em><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>and planned upgrades to the<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><em><a href=\"https:\/\/liteblue.usps.gov\/news\/link\/2015\/02feb\/news10s1.htm\">USPS fleet<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Attendees are also exchanging ideas about lean mail delivery, daily management best practices, leadership development, strengthening employee retention and other topics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur employees have a wealth of knowledge and we\u2019ve received a lot of good ideas that we look forward to implementing,\u201d said Delivery Operations VP Ed Phelan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mission: Possible Meeting held to discuss future of delivery USPS News &#8211;\u00a05\/4\/15 Rockville, MD, Letter Carrier Edward Knott delivers a package.
