{"id":10796,"date":"2015-04-30T08:20:19","date_gmt":"2015-04-30T13:20:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/?p=10796"},"modified":"2015-04-30T08:20:19","modified_gmt":"2015-04-30T13:20:19","slug":"video-residents-on-alert-for-package-thieves-in-north-raleigh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/2015\/04\/30\/video-residents-on-alert-for-package-thieves-in-north-raleigh\/","title":{"rendered":"Video: Residents On Alert For Package Thieves In North Raleigh"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RALEIGH (WTVD) &#8212; Neighbors in the Brook Forest Townhome community in North Raleigh hope surveillance images help nab what they believe might be a serial package thief.<\/p>\n<p>The latest incident happened Monday at Amy Clark&#8217;s home where someone ripped off two cases of contact lenses which her doctor confirmed were delivered.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I didn&#8217;t talk to the post office,&#8221; Clark explained. &#8220;My eye doctor called and confirmed with the company that it was mailed and then checked with them when it was dropped off.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The surveillance images recorded from Clark&#8217;s neighbor&#8217;s home April 21 showed a mail carrier dropping off a package on the neighbor&#8217;s front porch. Minutes later, a red van pulled up and stopped with the driver getting out.
