Miller to USPS BOG"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On June\u00a08, 2010 the\u00a0Whitehouse announced the withdrawal of the nomination of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.law.harvard.edu\/news\/spotlight\/civil-rights\/related\/miller.html\" target=\"_blank\">Paul Steven Miller<\/a> to the USPS Board of Governors. There was no explanation given for this withdrawal of nomination.<\/p>\n<p>Harvard Law School writes:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>&#8220;For much of his career, Paul Steven Miller &#8217;86 has advocated for &#8220;those people,&#8221; whether they be black, Latino, over 40, Muslim or in a wheelchair&#8211;anyone who is targeted for how they look or who they are.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The following is a statement from the Whitehouse:<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/the-press-office\/presidential-nominations-and-withdrawal-sent-senate-6810\" target=\"_blank\">Whitehouse<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; June 8, 2010<\/p>\n<p><strong>WITHDRAWAL SENT TO THE SENATE:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Paul Steven Miller, of Washington, to be a Governor of the United States Postal Service for a term expiring December 8, 2016, vice Carolyn L.
