She ran over and banged on the door to alert the residents, then called 911.<\/p>\n<p>It took about 50 firefighters one hour to extinguish the blaze, The Frederick News-Post<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fredericknewspost.com\/news\/disasters_and_accidents\/fires\/early-morning-apartment-fire-displaces-four-in-thurmont\/article_d26b1706-877d-11e4-a851-1303cfa4f04f.html\" target=\"_blank\"><em>reported<\/em><\/a>.
