{"id":10248,"date":"2015-03-05T08:36:59","date_gmt":"2015-03-05T13:36:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/?p=10248"},"modified":"2015-03-05T08:36:59","modified_gmt":"2015-03-05T13:36:59","slug":"video-cold-ice-no-match-for-usps-letter-carriers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/2015\/03\/05\/video-cold-ice-no-match-for-usps-letter-carriers\/","title":{"rendered":"Video: Cold, Ice No Match for USPS Letter Carriers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TULSA, Okla. &#8211; For more than 36 years, U.S. Post Office Letter Carrier Dean Pingry has been delivering mail in snow, sleet, rain, heat and just about anything else nature can throw his way.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There&#8217;s one thousand 79 deliveries on my route,&#8221; said Pingry.<\/p>\n<p>During the cold months, pingry said it&#8217;s all about layering up and wearing the right pair of shoes, fitted with snow cleats.<\/p>\n<p>Underneath his gloves, Pingry found another trick that comes in handy in dealing with the cold.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I put latex gloves underneath.
