The new cards also require cardholders to enter a personal identification number (PIN) when they make a purchase, adding an extra layer of security.<\/p>\n<p>More merchants in the United States are expected to adopt chip and PIN technology, which will make the cards more convenient.<\/p>\n<p>USPS travel cards that expire from February through November will reissue as usual and come with the new features.
