It’s nice to have another agency other than the OIG confirm what everyone knows; the Steiner/Tulino regime are failing, and failing miserably. This is also a shot across the bow of the BOG, who are not looked upon in a favorable light after doling out bonuses as rewards for failing spectacularly. This has become an untenable situation. Congress absolutely cannot give this crowd a dime just like you wouldn’t give an alcoholic another drink. Steiner asserted early on that the USPS could not “cut its way to profitability.” Yet he and Tulino are attempting to do just that, cutting service to try and make the quarterly losses more palatable. It’s not going to work, as the American people have had it with late or no delivery and internal theft by radicals pushed upon the ranks to even some past transgressions. It’s so bad drug testing has returned, yet whoever responsible for eliminating the testing probably got a bonus. Dejoy was vilified at every step, but Steiner and Tulino make him look good. There is no way forward with these two.
