It’s appropriate that this statement came out recently as rural carriers all across the country get their new evaluations that cut their pay significantly. “Volume’s down” is managements new mantra. So why has the management complement gone up, and keeps going up? The system the USPS uses to evaluate routes takes advantage of rural carriers and their tendency to cut corners, finish ASAP and leave. Discipline used to be issued for practices rurals regularly do, but all the NRLCA want to say is the USPS party line.
