Video: Job cuts no longer coming for Bronx postal workers

THE BRONX – The United States Postal Service says no jobs are being lost after cuts were expected at post offices across the borough.

U.S. Rep. Jose Serrano tells News 12 that more than 120 postal workers were at risk of losing their jobs. That risk is now diminished after Serrano says elected officials came together in opposition to the proposed firings.

However, the USPS says in a statement: “At no time were career employees in jeopardy of losing their postal employment or Bronx customers facing any service reductions.” News 12 – The Bronx
