Video: Ohio postal carriers comments recorded by security camera lead to TV investigation

NORTH CANTON, Ohio — The FOX 8 I TEAM is investigating a video clip recorded by a home security camera showing a postal carrier dropping off a package and dropping foul-language.

It happened in North Canton. A mail carrier can be seen driving up in a truck, taking a small package to the porch, and as he delivers it, he mutters. The recording shows he said, “(expletive) loser this guy is.”

Mason Donovan put up that camera at his home. He says he runs 5 businesses, and he has had trouble with the mail carrier. Donovan says sometimes his mailbox gets passed, or the mailbox is left open. And then this.

Donovan said, “It’s scary. You don’t know what he’s thinking there. You just want to know why.” He added, “I was out of town when I recorded that. You know, I have kids. If he’s gonna act that way when my kids are outside, what do I do?” Read more at Fox 8 Cleveland, OH

The nail on the head when he says of airport attacks … all they do is plant a bomb around the perimeter, so then the perimeter is widened so they plant a bomb outside the extended perimeter exactly where people are waiting to get inside the perimeter. In Manchester the Jihadi didn’t go through security to attack, he merely waited in the lobby just outside the security check. Horse and bolted is the problem, throw them out is the answer.

I certainly don’t approve of this carrier’s comments, but one thing to keep in mind, this guy’s supervisors and their supervisors speak to us like this on a regular basis. Carriers are belittled every day, called names, and embarrassed In front of our peers. Carriers are pushed to their limits every day to get more done in the least amount of time possible. The computer, tells the supe how long it should take for a carrier to deliver according to the mail volume for that day. However, the computer cannot allow for traffic, breakdowns, detours, construction, accidents, gabby customers, etc. If the carriers go over 8 hrs, or 10 or 12, {yes some are out 12 hrs, not enough help}, he will be humiliated. Not saying this is the reason for this guy’s attitude, but it’s something to think about.
