CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Four people were taken to the hospital in Chicopee Saturday night after a three car crash, which involved a mail truck.

The suspect, 24-year-old Jonathan Cotto of New Britain, CT, allegedly sped through a red light at the intersection of Granby Road and Grattan Street, striking a mail truck. The mail truck turned over onto its side, trapping and injuring the postal worker inside, who had to be extricated by the Chicopee Fire Department. The crash also pushed the mail truck into the vehicle behind it, causing front-end damage and injuring the two people inside.
