Video: Post office stops package delivery for residents on bumpy West Virginia road

MONONGALIA COUNTY, W.Va (WDTV) – It has been years of headaches for people who live along Memorial Road in the northwestern part of Monongalia County.

Some say they’ve lived there all their life, and problems with potholes and ditches aren’t really anything new.

They say the problem has gotten so bad that the post office won’t deliver packages.

“They’re dragging, they’re hitting holes, you look like bobbleheads when you go down this road,” said William Tennant.

We mentioned how this road is in Monongalia County, but mail is delivered to the Fairview post office, which is in Marion County. Neighbors say the road has gotten so bad to the point where the postal service won’t deliver packages. WDTV
