NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A man slashed a postal worker in the face and went on to barricade himself into his apartment in Laurelton, Queens Monday, police said.
Police said the 32-year-old man slashed the postal worker at a home on 220th Place in Queens, police said. The postal worker, a woman, was delivering mail to the home at the time, police said.
Police identified the man as Robert Powell, 32. He was arrested and charged with assault. Read more at CBS New York
