Video: AZ postal worker steals Tempe woman’s iPhone

TEMPE, AZ (KPHO/KTVK) – 12/08/16 – A Tempe woman warns others to track holiday packages closely after a postal worker stole her iPhone 7.

Jenn Craft said her boyfriend shipped the phone to her from a post office in Cincinnati with a delivery date of Nov. 29. It never showed up so she called customer service.

“No one could tell me anything,” Craft said. “They didn’t know where it was. They said it was scanned in Cincinnati and I needed to wait 15 days. No one really seemed to care.”

After logging onto the USPS website and seeing that the iPhone never left Cincinnati, Craft became suspicious.

“At that point I was like let’s check what’s going on with Sprint and we tried to access the phone and the password had been changed so at that point we knew someone had it in their possession,” Craft said.

The USPS admits it was a postal worker. Read more
