Video: Did Postal Service force out injured workers?

Frank Loose was close to leaving work for the day when a co-worker operating a forklift ran over his foot, crushing three toes, 10 years ago.

The operator put the machine in reserve and rolled over his foot a second time. The incident followed a dispute at the U.S. Postal Service plant on Lyell Avenue and led Rochester police to charge the operator with second-degree assault, a felony.

It left Loose, now 55, to fight a couple battles.

One has included a long road to recovery filled with endless hours of rehab, multiple surgeries, injections and medications for the pain, a noticeable limp and permanent damage to three disfigured toes.

His other battle is part of a national class action case against the U.S. Postal Service, involving its National Reassessment Program. Read more

  1. Hello All.

My name is Frank Loose and this is my story, reflecting what thousands of our USPS colleagues are/have been subjected to.

There are additional Investigative Report interviews now posted on YouTube under my name, or under USPS NRP. They give additional details, and name the managers that wrongfully terminated me one day after my most recent surgery after having been run over by a forklift. The operator ran over me, shifted into reverse and backed up over me. Despite submitting the definitive documentation to these managers – which can be seen in the videos – I was still terminated. Keep fighting for your rights, fighting for your dignity. Keep the Faith.

  2. Ian also part of new class action and has been accepted upon final class action resolve , told soon per last years phone conversation June 2016. Still waiting patiently…..
