EMCOR Group Awarded Contract For Interior And Exterior Repairs to USPS Locations

NORWALK, CT, September 2, 2015 – EMCOR Group, Inc. (NYSE: EME), a Fortune 500® leader in mechanical and electrical construction, industrial and energy infrastructure, and building services for a diverse range of businesses, announced that its subsidiary EMCOR Facilities Services has been awarded a contract to perform ongoing reactive repairs to the interior and exterior of the United States Postal Service’s (USPS) 32,000 locations in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

EMCOR Facilities Services will be responsible on an as-needed basis for performing reactive repair and alteration work to the interior and exterior of USPS locations. The scope of work can include electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs, as well as a range of handyman, general construction, and interior/exterior maintenance and repair.  Additional scope of work includes complete work order administration and management, 24/7/365 supplier management and emergency response, as well as Call Center support after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
