Video: Former postal supervisor investigated for mail theft strikes deal, may not serve jail time

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A former post office supervisor facing felony charges for stealing the mail could serve no jail time. According to court records, Marcy Galapo has struck a deal with the US Attorney’s Office. In exchange for a guilty plea by Galapo on one felony count of mail theft, the prosecutor will recommend to the judge that she receive probation.

The plea agreement comes more than a year after Galapo was first questioned by police and federal agents after 465 pieces of mail and 160 postal bins were found stashed inside her Lee’s Summit home. Read More
