Postal Service employees are invited to audition for a TV commercial that will debut in the spring. No prior acting experience is required.

The new commercial will show employees touting the Postal Service’s advancements, while acknowledging that more work remains. It will be the latest ad to feature employees.

To apply, follow these steps:

  • Create a video and state your name, where you’re from, your favorite on-the-job story and the personal quality you’re most proud of.
  • Visit the casting call site to upload your video and complete an online form. Hit submit to ensure your video is sent.

Submissions are due Tuesday, March 3, at 5 p.m. EST.

The commercial will be filmed in late March. All applicants must receive approval from their manager before selection and production begins.

  2. Agreed!! It’s an impossible requirement and no contact information for questions or email submissions. Should be able to upload to YouTube.

  3. There needs to be accountability for this mistake because there was an outstanding video made and the organization failed but the short will go on!!!

  4. Hello. I am a rural carrier in AZ and I tried submitting my application video tonight on your casting call page- via the smartapp. It did not work even though it met your requirement of 50mg, because the smartapp site itself said it had to be under 30mg. Which is it? 50 mg doesn’t allow enough time to answer the required questions, let alone 30. Is there another way I could submit it? It is due in two days and I just read about it today.
    Please let me know.
