PRC Chairman Responds To Senator Carper’s Travel Questions

PRC Chariman Goldway sent the following letter to Senator Carper in answer to his questions regarding her travel:

Dear Chairman Carper,

Pursuant to your letter of February 8, 2012, please find attached a summary and related documents that are responsive to your questions regarding Commission travel. This information demonstrates that Commission travel is in support of statutory obligations, performed in a cost-efficient manner, and benefits the Commission, the Postal Service, and the mailing public.

1. A document describing and detailing my travel during my chairmanship, with references to attached itineraries and agendas
2. Itineraries and agendas during my chairmanship
3. A synopsis of the Commission’s travel policies, with supporting documents
4. A listing of former Chairman Blair’s and former Chairman Omas’ travel
5. A description and listing of the Commission’s field hearings since 2007, with supporting itineraries and agendas
