On the eve of the holiday season, Dunkin’ Donuts, America’s all-day, every day stop for coffee and baked goods, is delivering a very special gift to the men and women who deliver our holiday cards, catalogs and presents. On Wednesday, November 25, Dunkin’ Donuts will serve free coffee to any United States Postal Service (USPS) letter carrier. Any USPS letter carrier that is wearing an official uniform or shows their union card identification can visit participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants throughout the country for a free coffee, any size. No additional purchase is necessary.

“The United States Postal Service letter carriers serve tirelessly throughout the holiday season, and we wanted to recognize their hard work during this very busy time of year,” said John Costello, Dunkin’ Brands’ Chief Global Customer and Marketing Officer. “We invite letter carriers to kick off the season with a free cup of coffee at their local Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant, and to know that we are there to help keep them running through snow or rain or gloom of night.”

  1. What about those of us who are “letter carriers” but do not wear an official uniform, i.e. rural letter carriers???????

Glynn – this is an old article and the offer expired long ago. PEN

  2. This is a great offer and I thank them. Sadly the closest DD to me is way to far away to travel.

  4. yeah, give free coffee to people who cant go to the bathroom unless there’s one on their route. smart move dunkin donutes

  5. bob, the reason why dunkin donuts is doing this is to thank all of the letter carriers who have been heroes helping their customers in times of distress, disaster and bad times. many thousands of carriers have and will continue to put themselves at risk to help the people they serve. carriers will also continue to give of themselves when any of the people they serve need a helping hand in the future. that is why carriers are being thanked for their sacrifice. gregg L morrisville pa

  6. While this is nice of Dunkin’ Donuts to give free coffee to carriers, there are a lot of postal employees who work behind the scenes to get the mail out like maintenance workers that work on the processing machinery or vehicles, clerks that sort and process the mail, etc. Why not extend this to anyone with a postal ID???
