What has happened, as we all know, is that we are now in the "electronic age", and millions of Americans are paying their bills "online", using email instead of snail mail, which is naturally cutting back on the need for the use of the USPS. Now whether businesses will continue to think of the USPS "first" with their shipping needs, that's a dicegame. Another reason which highly affects "delivery type" businesses, is the state of our entire nation when it comes to higher crime rates. It's not big secret that people are isolating themselves more and more simply because of the increase of home burglaries, etc. Well, if you're isolating yourself, best way to pay your bills is "electronically". Best way to get something shipped, why stand at the post office if you can get most of it done "electronically". I'm just saying.
