i just want to take a moment to ask our postmaster why he is so insistent on destroying the postal service. every time i read his comments and declarations it gives me the impression that he doesn't really believe what he is saying, instead he is reading the talking points of think tanks and others who have another agenda for the postal service. and he is willingly going along with it. it is mainly to take it down, as the infamous grover norquist once said about gov't and taxes, to make it small enough to drown in a bath tub. i really think that after working for 27 yrs, that this is the make or break year. if the usps can't be dismantled now under the guise of economic disaster and chaos , the master plan of those who are desiring the annihilation of this institution and its unions and bargaining rights will not have another chance. please mr PMG reconsider and do not cave in to special interests and political parties who have a more sinister agenda. mainly to make it private or sell away the profitable parts. either way you will go down in history as the man who destroyed the constitutionally mandated postal service reconsider your stance for all of our sakes. thank you

Att: Public Affairs Dept USPS Hgqtrs
Hello there US Postal Service. I would like to make a recommendation that will hopfully generate Income. Tthe USPS should start running a Commercial Campaign on TV to encourage people to utilize the USPS. Show the History of the USPS, where it came from, how it compares to others through out the World. Show Stories like Heores of 9-1.1 What did the Postal Service do on that day? Letter-Carriers who help save peoples live in the course of their duties. How they collect food every year to feed the Homeless. Show the public how a letter goes through the system it comes to your house. Show stories of people who are in the Military Reserves. People who have gone into Combat & have earned Purple Hearts.Do Stories on the Wounded Warriors; how the USPS has helped delivered Care Packages to the Wounded-Veterans of America. I think if you touch peoples lives with Heart Warming Stories than people will be more motivated to Write Letters & Send out more care Packages.
The present TV Commercial of "f it fits it Ship" that sounds real catchy; but is really generating any extra Income? Conduct a new National TV Commercial Campain that touches the Heart of People & see what will happen!! I guareentee you will see a differance.
